Using the building as a canvas, I painted this mural for a learning center serving local Spanish-speaking pre-K children. Educational themes interwoven into the art include color, pattern, height, shape, geography, animal life, and the seasons.
Community Education Mural - St. Roberts School
Artist Flo de Bretagne and I worked together to create this 225-foot-long educational mural for St. Robert's Catholic school in San Bruno. It is the longest mural in the Bay Area Peninsula.
After we finished the line drawings for all of the figures and elements, we invited dozens of school parents to help us fill in the colors. This intentionally fostered a community feel for the project.
